Event: L’INTESTINO FELICE! COME FERMENTARE LE VERDURE

On Sunday, November 12th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, an enlightening and practical course on vegetable fermentation will be held at Inyoga Studio in Perugia. The event is presented by Gianluca Angelucci.

Discover how fermentation can yield easily digestible and safe foods, rich in enzymes that aid digestion and support a robust immune system.

Learn about the vital role of a well-balanced microbiota in your gut and its impact on chronic illnesses, including allergies, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions. By regularly consuming fermented vegetables, you can reintroduce balance and a significant concentration of probiotics into your system.

Probiotic bacteria in properly fermented foods are essential for digestion, assimilation, and immune defense. They also contribute to gut health, alleviate symptoms of depression by aiding serotonin production, lower cholesterol levels, and possess anti-inflammatory properties.

Fermentation enriches vegetables with intense, concentrated, and aromatic flavors. They can complement various dishes, such as salads, legumes, and grains.

During the course, you’ll gain practical knowledge to safely and independently engage in fermentation. You’ll delve into techniques for preserving vegetables over time and achieving delightful and delicate flavors. Valuable guidance on selecting the right vegetables and cuts for fermentation will be provided.

Witness the creation of fermented vegetables using two methods: dry salting (for sauerkraut, onions, and more) and brining (for pickles and whole vegetables). You’ll have the opportunity to taste a variety of pre-made fermented vegetables to better understand flavors, scents, and textures, which will be highly beneficial when you prepare your own at home.

Furthermore, upon returning home, you’ll have continued support via WhatsApp, allowing you to seek advice from Gianluca regarding any challenges or uncertainties you encounter during your fermentation endeavors.

Gianluca Angelucci, a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, Shiatsu therapist, and nutrition expert, will lead this enlightening course. His passion for vibrational music, sound massage, and guiding sound baths with gongs, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, handpans, and unconventional instruments enriches his holistic approach.
