One of the standout moments from the 2023 Perugia Chocolate Festival was the presence and activities organized by Eurochocolate. As the largest and most renowned chocolate festival in Italy, Eurochocolate brought a unique and enriching experience to attendees over the 10-day festival period from October 13 to 22.
One notable highlight was the birth of the Italian Bean-To-Bar Chocolate Association, a significant development for craft chocolate enthusiasts. For the first time at Eurochocolate, Italian craft bean-to-bar chocolate makers gathered under a dedicated space, fostering connections and forming the Bean-To-Bar Italia Association to extend the sense of community beyond the festival.
The Tree-to-Bar Interactive Experience, a signature element of Eurochocolate, reached new heights in 2023. Themed around PLAYA DE ORO, this walkable itinerary provided attendees with a close-up look at the entire chocolate-making process, from cacao picking to chocolate production. The inclusion of real-size scenarios and decorations enhanced the immersive experience.
